LIFE PROCESSES IN LIVING ORGANISMS...

What is meant by Life processes?...
ANS: The basic important activities performed by an organisms to survive their life are called as
          life processes

There are different types of life processes, Some basic life processes are given below

  • Digestive System
  • Respiratory System
  • Nervous System
  • Circulatory System
DIGESTIVE SYSTEM.

The human digestive system consist of various organ which
are accessory for this purpose. for eg :(Tongue, salivary gland
 pancreas, liver, and etc.)

Digestion process involves the breakdown of food into smaller
and smaller components, until they can be absorbed into the
body. The process of Digestion includes 3 Basic steps.
  • Cephalic Phase.
  • Gastric Phase.
  • Intestinal Phase.

RESPIRATORY SYSTEM.

Respiratory System has two different names known as
  • Respiratory Apparatus.
  • Ventilatory System.
It is an biological system organs and structures used for gas
exchange in animals and plants. The anatomy and physiology
that makes this happens varies greatly, depending on the size
of the organism
Main function of this process is it does the job to move fresh
air into out body while removing waste gases.
It starts from the organ known as NOSE and end's in the
organ called DIAPRHAGM.

NERVOUS SYSTEM.

The nervous system is a complex network of nerves and
cells that carry messages to and from the brain and spinal
cord to various parts of the body.
The Neuron is the functional unit of the nervous system.
Humans have 100 billions neurons in their brain alone!

There are two types of nervous system....
  •  Central nervous system.
  • Peripheral nervous system.
further are some basic functions of nervous system
  • Control the body's internal environment.
  • Programming of spinal cord reflexes.
  • Memory and learning skills.
  • Voluntary control of movement.
CIRCULATORY SYSTEM.

The circulatory system delivers oxygen and nutrients
to cells and take away wastes. The heart pumps oxygen
and deoxygenated blood on different sides.

There are three types of blood vessels...
  • Arteries.
  • capillaries.
  • veins.
It provides oxygen, nutrients, and hormones to muscles,
tissues and organs throughout your body. Another part
of the circulatory system is to remove waste from the
cells and organs so your body can dispose it.
